Our Little Scholar

CeCe has made a lot of progress lately - no more eating the crayons, we are actually coloring with them! With such progress, it looked like she needed a good desk to work. It was time to pull out the antique school desk that had been a gift from Grandma Elliott. It is the perfect size for the girl and she loves to do her work there.

Halloween Fun

CeCe's mom had her book club meeting on Sunday. CeCe joined the fun for a bit - she was a little witch and her Mom was Sara Palin. Grandma Herder and Auntie Ellie joined the fun too. It was a lovely evening! We can't wait for Halloween!

Pee Pee in the Potty!!

Big news!! CeCe spent the day with her Grandma Herder today and had her first pee in the pot! Apparently she quickly had to stick her hand in it to see if it was really there. We had been close a few times, but wanted to pass on the thrilling news. Thanks Grandma!!

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Grandma and Grandpa Elliott came to visit this weekend to celebrate his and Mark's birthday. Morgan and her folks even came down for the day on Saturday for a bike ride and fondu. Here are some cute pics from the weekend.

A Visit from Uncle Bob and Aunt Wendy

Mark's Uncle and Aunt joined us for dinner on Friday night as they passed through town. We had a great time visiting and CeCe found playing with Aunt Wendy to be a blast. Here is a video of her trying on Wendy's shoes - if she is like her mom, she will be able to fit into those shoes by the next time we get together!

Final Weekend at the Cabin

It is amazing how early the sun sets and how cool the evenings can become when summer was just here. Cecelia and her Mom spent a final weekend at Grandma and Grandpa Herder's cabin. Ce also had her final bath in the sink - by the time we come back in the spring, I don't think she will fit anymore. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for another great season at the cabin. We look forward to our return!
We did have a fun visitor at the cabin while we were there. A great horned owl perched at the end of the dock - it was really something to see.
