Spring Break in Arizona

CeCe and her Mama took a great trip out to Arizona for spring break. CeCe did great on the trip out and seemed to appreciate the bump up to first class (but not as much as her mom did!). We got struck by lightning on our approach to Arizona (a really bright light and a really big bang that sent the flight attendents scurrying into a huddle). Mark says that in 13,000 hours of flight he has only been struck once, so we must be really lucky.
Kelly and Kelly met us at the airport and hosted us on Sunday. It just happened that CeCe's Uncle Mark was coming through town with his girlfriend Lorain after they had spent the weekend in Sedona. Kelly Girl made a great lunch and we had a great time catching up with Mark and getting to meet Lorain. Mark just got stationed in Maui, Hawaii, so it will definitely be fun visiting him at his new station.
Nana and Grampa Roger picked us up on Sunday and hosted us for most of the rest of the week. The weather was horrible most of the time (temps in the 50's to start and too much rain for a place that is supposed to be a desert), but the company was great. It didn't matter how cold it was, Ce still enjoyed the pool too. CeCe was like a celebrity in the over 55 mostly snow-bird community. People would wave out their windows at her and would give her presents just for being there.
We finished out the week at Kelly and Kelly's - Ann even made it up to the top of the Camel Back mountain on Friday (only with a lot of encouragement from Kelly and Kelly).
Our vacation went way too fast, but we had so much fun while we were there.
